The New Hampshire Alliance for Civic Engagement seeks to enhance civic engagement in New Hampshire by strengthening the knowledge, skills, and behaviors essential for active citizenship, especially among young people.
New Information
NHACE has produced a video, New Hampshire Defines Civic Engagement. Produced by students for students, the 15-minute video features students interviewing Gov. Lynch, Sen. Gregg, and other elected officials and students. We have prepared a
discussion guide (PDF/277KB) to assist teachers in leading a class discussion with students about civic engagement and what it means to them. If you would like a copy of the video, please
complete our online order form.

We would like to build a robust database on this Web site that highlights the many successful and innovative ways young people can be prepared for active citizenship. We invite you to submit your civic education projects and lesson plans. For more information,
please visit our practice examples page.
This Web site is designed to connect you to a number of high-quality resources on civic engagement. Be sure to check out the upcoming events page as well as the Links & Resources section.
